Anouncing the Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn “Raise The Age” Community Forum

Posted: May 25th, 2012 | by Yuval Sheer

We have partnered with the Center For Community Alternatives to organize our second “Raise The Age” collaborative community forum which will take place at Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.

200 family members attended the first forum which took place in East Harlem and was organized in collaboration with the Child Welfare Organizing Project and Community Connections for Youth. The forums provide youth and their families with a valuable opportunity to learn about New York’s low age of criminal responsibility.

The Bedford Stuyvesant forum will take place on June 21st, 6:00 pm at the Bedford-Stuyvesant Restoration Plaza, “Community Room” 1368 Fulton St, Brooklyn, NY 11216.

Our goal is to open the forum to as many families as possible. As such, we would appreciate your assistance in distributing the flyer below. If you would like to print out the flyer, it is available here.

If you would like to RSVP for this event, you may register by clicking the flyer below.
