History
The Center was established by Michael A. Corriero who was a judge for twenty-eight years in the Criminal Courts of the State of New York. For sixteen years, Judge Corriero presided over Manhattan’s Youth Part.

We secure justice for children by promoting a model of justice for minors that treats children as children, and responds to their misconduct with strategies designed to improve their chances of becoming constructive members of society.
On April 30th, New York State Assemblywoman Amy Paulin, Judge Corriero and Dorchen Leidholdt, Director of the Sanctuary for Families Center for Battered Women’s Legal Services, were interviewed about the effort to protect young victims of sex trafficking
