New York Center for Juvenile Justice Conducts Event at Columbia Law School

Posted: April 14th, 2011 | by Yuval Sheer

On April 5th, 2011, three Columbia law student organizations: the Criminal Justice Action Network, the Youth Justice Association, and EdLaw, invited the New York Center for Juvenile Justice to conduct a juvenile justice discussion at the school.

After a presentation by Judge Corriero, the group discussed the consequences of New York’s low age of criminal responsibility. In particular, the discussion focused on the impact of these policies on low income and minority communities across the state.

The Center wishes to thank Devon Hein for coordinating this event and the Columbia law students for their passion for this important cause.
