New York Center for Juvenile Justice Conducts Event at Albany Law School

Posted: April 14th, 2011 | by Yuval Sheer

On April 7, 2011, the Albany Law School Rockefeller chapter of Phi Alpha Delta and the Latino American Law Student Association hosted a juvenile justice forum.

During the event, Judge Corriero discussed with the students the devastating consequences of the over-criminalization of children who are saddled for life with the indelible stigma of a criminal conviction.  He encouraged the students to join the grassroots movement to transform New York’s juvenile justice system, and ensure that New York has a fair and reasonable age of criminal responsibility.

The Center wishes to thank Robert Schechter for his efforts in organizing this event.
