We would like to thank Governor Paterson for dedicating air time to our cause. We are grateful to the governor for his consistent commitment to the children of New York, as evidenced by the creation of his Task Force on Transforming Juvenile Justice. That task force served as a precursor to many of the innovative reforms currently under consideration. Additionally, the governor’s insight and intervention in the case of Qing Hong Wu was indispensable in that case’s successful and just outcome.
