Families Rising is a collaborative initiative between the New York Center for Juvenile Justice and the New York Foundling to provide evidence-based therapeutic services to teenagers who come into contact with New York’s adult criminal courts. The Foundling has been administering such practices, noteworthy for their consistent success, in the Family Court for the past seven years. These services provide families and caregivers with essential rehabilitative tools to comprehensively address the complex behavioral and mental health issues that may have initially led to the child’s involvement with the criminal justice system.

Inquiries about the program can be made by contacting Latasha.Fermin@nyfoundling.org
